A Time for Everything - Ecclesiastes 3 - NLT

v:1 There is a time for everything,
a season for every activity under heaven.
v:2 A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
v:3 A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to rebuild.
v:4 A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
v:5A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.

A time to keep and a time to throw away.
v:7 A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak up.
v:8 A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.

Consider David,  King of Israel. He danced before God when the ark of the covenant was returned to Jerusalem.

NJB 2 Samuel 6:21 David replied to Michal, 'I was dancing for Yahweh, not for them.  As Yahweh lives, who chose me in preference to your father and his whole family to make me leader of Israel, Yahweh's people,  I shall dance before Yahweh

Have you ever wondered about the dancing that Miriam led the women of Israel in after God led them safely through the Red Sea?

TNK Exodus 15:19 For the horses of Pharaoh, with his chariots and horsemen, went into the sea; and the LORD turned back on them the waters of the sea; but the Israelites marched on dry ground in the midst of the sea. 20 Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her in dance with timbrels. 21 And Miriam chanted for them: Sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously; Horse and driver He has hurled into the sea.
